email a picture, here is how

I often mention why not email us a picture, well if you are not sure how to here is how.

First you need to get the picture on to your computer, you can either scan it, or use a digital camera, or you may already have a picture that you want to send to some one else.

We will assume it is now on your computer.

Open your email programme.

select the recipient of your email

you will then need to "attach" your picture(s)

You do this by looking for the attach symbol which is usually a paperclip

 (The one with the arrow pointing at it)

Click on the symbol

it will then open a dialogue box 

You then select where your picture to be attached is 

(The picture to be sent MUST be on your "desk top" if it is not the recipient may not get the picture)

You then click on attach in the NEW dialogue box.

Under your "subject" box, a new box appears with the words "attach" and next to that will be what you have attached. You can also send files in this manner. Repeat as required. Type in any message you have and send in the usual way.
